All of us want a way into Jannah, this is the ultimate goal and the test of this dunya. But how many actually educate themselves on what the Quran and hadith say about Jannah?
“But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, ‘Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein,’ [they will enter].” (Surah Al-Zumar 39:73)
There are 8 doors to Jannah, each which allows access to a different type of person. It would be best for us to try to embody the type of person that would be allowed access.
Gates of Jannah:
- Baab As-Salaat: For Muslims who are punctual and focused on prayer.
- Baab Al-Jihad: For those who participated in Jihad (died in the cause of Islam).
- Baab As-Sadaqah: Jannah Doors opened to those who frequently gave to charity.
- Baab Ar-Rayyaan: For those who fasting (siyam).
- Baab Al-Hajj: For Muslims who participated in the Hajj (annual pilgrimage to Mecca)
- Baab Al-Kaazimeen Al-Ghaiz Wal Aafina Anin Naas: For those who controlled or withheld anger and practiced forgiving others.
- Baab Al-Iman: For those who had sincere faith.
- Baab Al-Dhikr: For those who showed zeal in remembering Allah.
Different Ways To Enter Jannah According to Hadith
The Righteous Will Enter Jannah:
And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer – those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed. (4:124)
Do Not Associate Partners, Give Charity, Keep Good Relations
Narrated Abu Aiyub: A man said to the Prophet (ﷺ) “Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise.” The people said, “What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “He has something to ask. (What he needs greatly) The Prophet (ﷺ) said: (In order to enter Paradise) you should worship Allah and do not ascribe any partners to Him, offer prayer perfectly, pay the Zakat and keep good relations with your Kith and kin.” (Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 1396. Volume 2 Book 23 Funerals (Al-Janaa’iz), Hadith 479)
Remember the 99 Names of Allah by Heart.
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise.” (Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari 2736. Volume 3, Book 50, Number 894)
Make Prayer at Masjid in Morning and Afternoon.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah will prepare for him who goes to the mosque (every) morning and in the afternoon (for the congregational prayer) an honorable place in Paradise with good hospitality for (what he has done) every morning and afternoon goings.
Become A Erudite (Seeker of Knowledge)
Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him.” (Reference : Jami At-Tirmidhi 2646. In-book reference : Book 41, Hadith 2 English translation : Vol. 5, Book 39, Hadith 2646)
Visiting The Sick
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “Whosoever visits an ailing person or a brother of his to seek the Pleasure of Allah, an announcer (angel) calls out: ‘May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you be awarded a dignified position in Jannah”. [At- Tirmidhi].
Final Words of a Dying Person
Narrated Mu’adh bin Jabal : The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: If anyone’s last words are “There is no god but Allah” he will enter Paradise. (Grade: Sahih (Al-Albani) Reference : Sunan Abi Dawud 3116 In-book reference : Book 21, Hadith 28 English translation : Book 20, Hadith 3110)
So any idiot who learn 99 names will go to paradise? Seriously? Like… how stupid can u get?
I believe there’s a misunderstanding. If your friend came to you and said, you wouldn’t believe what happened I almost literally died, do you believe that he almost did? I’d guess not. People speak in hyperbole to get their point across.
If you read the hadith you’ll see how Prophet Muhammad (saws) often speaks in exaggeration but that’s to gain the attention of the Bedouin.
It’s not as simple as reading 99 names and you go to paradise. You are now excused from daily prayers or reading the Qur’an and all your other duties as a Muslim. It’s an exaggeration and speaks to the high degree of virtue of the act.
” JIHAD ” in Islam means to Strive , to Struggle which means to try or work hard to get the best success in your life was also Jihad then why you picks the wrong meaning of Islam. If you want to do thus type of job then study hard , get deep knowledge the real meaning with every words of Islam then publish the world.
