Du'a after burying the deceased

For those unfamiliar, Hisnul Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim) is a well-known du'a book compiled by Said Bin Ali Bin Wahf Al-Qahtani. It categorizes authentic supplications that the Prophet ﷺ made in various situations. In the 59th chapter, "After burying the deceased" there is only 1 supplication that you can learn and recite.

Tips for learning:

We've created a video for each du'a to try and make it easy to learn. There's also transliteration and translation for every du'a. Lastly, after pressing the play button you can tap on any word and it'll skip to that part in the audio.

Chapter 59: After burying the deceased
1 du'a
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ
Allāhumma’ghfir lahAllāhumma thabbit’h.
O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, strengthen him.
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to stop after burying the dead and say to the people: "Ask Allah to forgive your brother and pray for him to be strengthened, for indeed he is now being questioned." Abu Dawud 3/315, and Al-Hakim 1/370 who graded it authentic and Ath-Thahabi agreed.
