Making continual dua and prayers can be considered as a weapon to change our situation since allah subhanahu wa ta’ala can change our fate.

By becoming aware of what we are lacking or by accepting our faults and mistakes we can then correct course and start fresh on a new path. But it stems from awareness and humility to admit our shortcomings.

Making dua to Allah SWT is essentially a submission to our creator and demonstrates a person’s need for Allah SWT. This is why it’s encouraged to make as many dua’s as you possibly can and to ask for whatever you desire, big or small aspirations. There is no limit placed as to the number of times one can supplicate in a single day and it’s likely we are not doing it enough.

In this post we are going to cover a dua from Surah Imran ayat 8, it is one of the forty Rabbana dua’s. It asks Allah to grant us mercy, for him to guide us and not let our hearts go astray. We are fairly logical, we know right from wrong, but most of our errors in judgement come from a lack of emotional control.
