And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.

Yet the scripture of Moses was revealed before it as a guide and a mercy, and this is a scripture confirming it in the Arabic language to warn those who do evil and bring good news for those who do good.
اور اس سے پہلے موسیٰ کی کتاب پیشوا اور رحمت تھی۔ اور یہ کتاب ہے تصدیق کرنے والی عربی زبان میں تاکہ ﻇالموں کو ڈرائے اور نیک کاروں کو بشارت ہو

To warn the wrongdoers: To warn of the evil end those who are being unjust to themselves and to the truth itself by disbelieving in Allah and serving others than Allah, and are involved because of this deviation of theirs in the evils of morals and deeds, which have filled human society with every kind of wickedness and injustice.
