Surah Al-An’am Ayat 127 in Arabic Text

لَهُمْ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
Lahum daarus salaami ‘inda Rabbihim wa huwa waliyyuhum bimaa kaanoo ya’maloon

English Translation

Here you can read various translations of verse 127

Sahih International
For them will be the Home of Peace with their Lord. And He will be their protecting friend because of what they used to do.

Yusuf Ali
For them will be a home of peace in the presence of their Lord: He will be their friend, because they practised (righteousness).

Abul Ala Maududi
Theirs shall be an abode of peace with their Lord – their Protector – in recompense for all they have done.

Muhsin Khan
For them will be the home of peace (Paradise) with their Lord. And He will be their Wali (Helper and Protector) because of what they used to do.

Pickthall
For them is the abode of peace with their Lord. He will be their Protecting Friend because of what they used to do.

Dr. Ghali
For them is the Residence of Peace within the Providence of their Lord; and He is their Ever- Patronizing Patron for whatever they were doing.

Abdel Haleem
They shall have the Home of Peace with their Lord, and He will take care of them as a reward for their deeds.

Ala-Maududi

(6:127) Theirs shall be an abode of peace[93] with their Lord – their Protector – in recompense for all they have done.


93 The righteous will enjoy ‘the Abode of Peace’ since there he will be safe from every misfortune and evil.

Ibn-Kathir
