Surah Mu’minun Ayat 21 in Arabic Text

وَإِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ لَعِبۡرَةٗۖ نُّسۡقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ كَثِيرَةٞ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

Wa inna lakum fil an’aami la’ibrah; nusqeekum mimmaa fee butoonihaa wa lakum feehaa manaafi’u kaseeratunw wa minhaa taakuloon

English Translation

Here you can read various translations of verse 21

Sahih International
And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat.

Yusuf Ali
And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat;

Abul Ala Maududi
And indeed there is also a lesson for you in cattle. We provide you with drink out of what they have in their bellies; and you have many other benefits in them: you eat of them,

Muhsin Khan
And Verily! In the cattle there is indeed a lesson for you. We give you to drink (milk) of that which is in their bellies. And there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits for you, and of them you eat.

Pickthall
And lo! in the cattle there is verily a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and many uses have ye in them, and of them do ye eat;

And surely in the cattle (⊃ Anc am includes cattle, camels, sheep and goats) there is indeed a lesson for you; We make you to drink of what is in their bellies, and many profits (Or: uses) there are in them for you, and of them you eat.

(23:21) And indeed there is also a lesson for you in cattle. We provide you with drink out of what they have in their bellies;^[22] and you have many other benefits in them: you eat of them,
