So We inspired to him, “Construct the ship under Our observation, and Our inspiration, and when Our command comes and the oven overflows, put into the ship from each [creature] two mates and your family, except those for whom the decree [of destruction] has proceeded. And do not address Me concerning those who have wronged; indeed, they are to be drowned.
So We inspired him (with this message): “Construct the Ark within Our sight and under Our guidance: then when comes Our Command, and the fountains of the earth gush forth, take thou on board pairs of every species, male and female, and thy family- except those of them against whom the Word has already gone forth: And address Me not in favour of the wrong-doers; for they shall be drowned (in the Flood).
Thereupon We revealed to him, saying: “Build the Ark under Our eyes and according to Our revelation. And when Our command comes to pass and the oven boils over, take on board a pair each from every species, and also take your household except those of them against whom sentence has already been passed and do not plead to Me on behalf of the wrong-doers. They are doomed to be drowned.
So We inspired him (saying): “Construct the ship under Our Eyes and under Our Revelation (guidance). Then, when Our Command comes, and the oven gushes forth water, take on board of each kind two (male and female), and your family, except those thereof against whom the Word has already gone forth. And address Me not in favour of those who have done wrong. Verily, they are to be drowned.
Then We inspired in him, saying: Make the ship under Our eyes and Our inspiration. Then, when Our command cometh and the oven gusheth water, introduce therein of every (kind) two spouses, and thy household save him thereof against whom the Word hath already gone forth. And plead not with Me on behalf of those who have done wrong. Lo! they will be drowned.
So We revealed to him, (saying), “Work the ship under Our Eyes and Our Revelation; so, when Our Command comes and the oven boils over, then dispatch therein two pairs (Or: spouses) of every kind and your family- except for him against whom the Saying has already gone before. And do not address Me concerning the ones who have done injustice; surely they will be drowned.
and so We revealed to him: ‘Build the Ark under Our watchful eye and according to Our revelation. When Our command comes and water gushes up out of the earth,take pairs of every species on board, and your family, except for those on whom the sentence has already been passed- do not plead with me for the evildoers: they will be drowned-
تو ہم نے ان کی طرف وحی بھیجی کہ تو ہماری آنکھوں کے سامنے ہماری وحی کے مطابق ایک کشتی بنا۔ جب ہمارا حکم آجائے اور تنور ابل پڑے تو، تو ہر قسم کا ایک ایک جوڑا اس میں رکھ لے اور اپنے اہل کو بھی، مگر ان میں سے جن کی بابت ہماری بات پہلے گزر چکی ہے۔ خبردار جن لوگوں نے ﻇلم کیا ہے ان کے بارے میں مجھ سے کچھ کلام نہ کرنا وه تو سب ڈبوئے جائیں گے

Ala-Maududi
(23:27) Thereupon We revealed to him, saying: “Build the Ark under Our eyes and according to Our revelation. And when Our command comes to pass[29] and the oven boils over, take on board a pair each from every species, and also take your household except those of them against whom sentence has already been passed and do not plead to Me on behalf of the wrong-doers. They are doomed to be drowned.
29. Some commentators think that tannur means the earth; others take it for the highest part of the earth; and still others think that the words far-at-tannur in the text have been used for the break of dawn. There are some who express the opinion that the words have been used metaphorically for the creation of turmoil. But in view of the context, we see no reason why one should take a far fetched figurative meaning of a clear word of the Quran. It appears that a particular oven (tannur) had been earmarked for the deluge to start from, which was to all appearances an unexpected origin of the doom of the wretched people.
