They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].
In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round!
They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water.
They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water!
They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water.
They go round between it and between duly boiling (Or: hot) scalding water.
but they will go round between its flames and scalding water.

Quran 55 Verse 44 Explanation

Ala-Maududi
(55:44) They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water.[38]
38. That is, in Hell they will feel oppressed with thirst again and again. and will rush towards the springs of water, but will find only boiling water, which will not satisfy their thirst, and they will thus continue to wander to and fro between Hell and the springs for ever and ever.
