Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.
Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life.
joyously receiving what their Lord will have granted them. Verily they did good works before (the coming of this Day):
Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers – see V. 2:112).
Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good;
Taking whatever their Lord has brought them; surely, they were fair-doers before that.
They will receive their Lord’s gifts because of the good they did before:
ان کے رب نے جو کچھ انہیں عطا فرمایا ہے اسے لے رہے ہوں گے وه تو اس سے پہلے ہی نیکوکار تھے

Ala-Maududi
(51:16) joyously receiving what their Lord will have granted them.[14] Verily they did good works before (the coming of this Day):
14. Literally: “Receiving what their Lord has given them”, but in this context receiving does not merely mean to receive but to receive joyfully. Obviously, when a person is given something of his own choice and liking, his receiving it will naturally have the meaning of accepting and receiving it joyfully.
