And if they deny you – then already have those before them denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs and written ordinances and with the enlightening Scripture.
And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.
If they give the lie to you now, those that went before them also gave the lie to their Messengers when they came to them with Clear Proofs, with Scriptures, and with the Illuminating Book.
And if they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs, and with the Scriptures, and the book giving light.
And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah’s Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light.
And in case they cry you lies, then (the ones) even before them already cried lies; their Messengers came to them with the supreme evidence (s), and the Scriptures (Zubur, sometimes understood to mean the Psalms) and the Supreme Enlightening Book.
If they call you a liar, their predecessors did the same: messengers came to them with clear signs, scriptures, and enlightening revelation
اور اگر یہ لوگ آپ کو جھٹلا دیں تو جو لوگ ان سے پہلے ہو گزرے ہیں انہوں نے بھی جھٹلایا تھا ان کے پاس بھی ان کے پیغمبر معجزے اور صحیفے اور روشن کتابیں لے کر آئے تھے

Ala-Maududi
(35:25) If they give the lie to you now, those that went before them also gave the lie to their Messengers when they came to them with Clear Proofs,[46] with Scriptures, and with the Illuminating Book.[47]
46. “Clear proofs”: Proofs which clearly testified that they were Allah’s Messengers.
47. “Scriptures” probably consisted of good counsels and moral precepts and “the Book” comprised a complete code of the law.
