When two parties among you were about to lose courage, but Allah was their ally; and upon Allah the believers should rely.
Remember two of your parties Meditated cowardice; but Allah was their protector, and in Allah should the faithful (Ever) put their trust.
And recall when two groups from among you were inclined to flag although Allah was their protector; it is in Allah that the believers should put their trust.
When two parties from among you were about to lose heart, but Allah was their Wali (Supporter and Protector). And in Allah should the believers put their trust.
When two parties of you almost fell away, and Allah was their Protecting Friend. In Allah let believers put their trust.
(Remember) as two sections of you were about to be disheartened, and Allah is their EverPatronizing Patron; and on Allah let the believers then put their trust.
Remember when two groups of you were about to lose heart and God protected them- let the believers put their trust in God-
جب تمہاری دو جماعتیں پست ہمتی کا اراده کر چکی تھیں، اللہ تعالیٰ انکا ولی اور مددگار ہے۔ اور اسی کی پاک ذات پر مومنوں کو بھروسہ رکھنا چاہئے

Ala-Maududi
(3:122) And recall when two groups from among you were inclined to flag[95] although Allah was their protector; it is in Allah that the believers should put their trust.
95. This refers to Banu Salamah and Banu Harithah, whose morale had been undermined as a result of the withdrawal of ‘Abd Allah b. Ubayy and his followers.
