Surah Al-Imran Ayat 138 in Arabic Text

هَـٰذَا بَيَانٌۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَهُدًۭى وَمَوْعِظَةٌۭ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
Haazaa bayaanul linnaasi wa hudanw wa maw’izatul lilmuttaqeen

English Translation

Here you can read various translations of verse 138

Sahih International
This [Qur’an] is a clear statement to [all] the people and a guidance and instruction for those conscious of Allah.

Yusuf Ali
Here is a plain statement to men, a guidance and instruction to those who fear Allah!

Abul Ala Maududi
This is a plain exposition for men, and a guidance and admonition for the Godfearing.

Muhsin Khan
This (the Quran) is a plain statement for mankind, a guidance and instruction to those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious – see V. 2:2).

Pickthall
This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil)

Dr. Ghali
This is an evidence for mankind and a guidance and an admonition for the pious.

Abdel Haleem
This is a clear lesson to people, and guidance and teaching for those who are mindful of God.
