They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them there will be no helpers.
They are those whose works will bear no fruit in this world and in the Hereafter nor will they have anyone to help.
These are the people whose works have gone to waste in this world and in the World to Come. They have none to help them.
They are those whose works will be lost in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.
Those are they whose works have failed in the world and the Hereafter; and they have no helpers.
Those are they whose deeds have been frustrated in the present (life) (Literally: the lowly life i.e., the life of this world) and the Hereafter, and in no way do they have any vindicators.

Ala-Maududi
(3:22) These are the people whose works have gone to waste in this world and in the World to Come.[20] They have none to help them.[21]
20. They have spent their efforts and energies in a manner leading to catastrophic results in this world and the Next.
21. No power can make these misdeeds either bear good fruit or prevent them bearing evil fruit. The powers upon which the wrong-doers rely for support in this world and in the World to Come will not be of any help to them.
