But as for those who disbelieved, [it will be said], “Were not Our verses recited to you, but you were arrogant and became a people of criminals?
But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said): “Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin!
But those who denied the Truth, they shall be told: “Were My Signs not rehearsed to you? But you waxed proud and became a guilty people.”
But as for those who disbelieved (it will be said to them): “Were not Our Verses recited to you? But you were proud, and you were a people who were Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals).”
And as for those who disbelieved (it will be said unto them): Were not Our revelations recited unto you? But ye were scornful and became a guilty folk.
And as for the ones who have disbelieved, (it will be said), “So, were not My ayat being recited to you, yet you waxed proud, and you were a criminal people?
but those who disbelieved [will be asked]: ‘When My revelations were recited to you, were you not arrogant and persistent in wicked deeds?
لیکن جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا تو (میں ان سے کہوں گا) کیا میری آیتیں تمہیں سنائی نہیں جاتی تھیں؟ پھر بھی تم تکبر کرتے رہے اور تم تھے ہی گنہ گار لوگ

Ala-Maududi
(45:31) But those who denied the Truth, they shall be told: “Were My Signs not rehearsed to you? But you waxed proud[43] and became a guilty people.”
43. That is, you thought it was below your dignity to believe in Allah’s revelations and submit to them, and considered yourselves to be above subjection and servitude.
