Surah Jathiya Ayat 35 in Arabic Text
English Translation
Here you can read various translations of verse 35
That is because you took the verses of Allah in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you.” So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].
“This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:” (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace.
You reached this end because you made Allah’s Signs an object of jest and the life of the world deluded you.” So they shall not be taken out of the Fire nor shall they be asked to make amends (and thus please their Lord).
This, because you took the revelations of Allah (this Quran) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yusta’tabun (i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allah, and beg His Pardon for their sins).
This, forasmuch as ye made the revelations of Allah a jest, and the life of the world beguiled you. Therefor this day they come not forth from thence, nor can they make amends.
That (Literally: Those (conseguences) is for that you took to yourselves the signs of Allah in mockery, and the present life (Literally: the lowly life, i.e., the life of this world) deluded you.” So today they will not be brought out of it, nor will they be allowed to make amends.
because you received God’s revelations with ridicule and were deceived by worldly life.’ They will not be brought out of the Fire on that Day, nor will they be given the chance to make amends.
