Surah Muddaththir Ayat 17 in Arabic Text

سَأُرۡهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا
Sa urhiquhoo sa’oodaa

English Translation

Sahih International
I will cover him with arduous torment.

Yusuf Ali
Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities!

Abul Ala Maududi
I shall soon constrain him to a hard ascent.

Muhsin Khan
I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa’ud, or to) face a severe torment!

Pickthall
On him I shall impose a fearful doom.

Dr. Ghali
I will soon oppress him to a (hard) mounting (in calamities).

Abdel Haleem
I will inflict a spiralling torment on him.

Muhammad Junagarhi
