And leave Me with [the matter of] the deniers, those of ease [in life], and allow them respite a little.
And leave Me (alone to deal with) those in possession of the good things of life, who (yet) deny the Truth; and bear with them for a little while.
Leave it to Me to deal with the affluent ones who give the lie (to the Truth), and bear with them for a while.
And leave Me Alone to deal with the beliers (those who deny My Verses, etc.), and those who are in possession of good things of life. And give them respite for a little while.
Leave Me to deal with the deniers, lords of ease and comfort (in this life); and do thou respite them awhile.
And leave Me away (to deal) with the beliers, the ones endowed with (earthly) comfort, and give them more leisure for a little (while).
and leave to Me those who deny the truth and live in luxury. Bear with them for a little while;
اور مجھے اور ان جھٹلانے والے آسوده حال لوگوں کو چھوڑ دے اور انہیں ذرا سی مہلت دے
Quran 73 Verse 11 Explanation
For those looking for commentary to help with the understanding of Surah Muzzammil ayat 11, we’ve provided two Tafseer works below. The first is the tafseer of Abul Ala Maududi, the second is of Ibn Kathir.
Ala-Maududi
(73:11) Leave it to Me to deal with the affluent ones who give the lie[12] (to the Truth), and bear with them for a while.
12. These words clearly contain the sense that the people, who were actually denying the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Makkah and were inciting the common people to oppose and resist him by stirring up prejudices and by deceit and fraud, were the well-to-do, prosperous and affluent people, for it was their interests, which were being hit by the reforming message of Islam. The Quran tells us that this was not peculiar only to the Prophet’s case but in every age this very class of the people have been the main obstacle to every movement of reform. For example, see (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayat 60); (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayat 66); (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayat 75); (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayat 88); (Surah Al-Mominoon, Ayat 33); (Surah Saba, Ayat 34-35); (Surah Az-Zukhruf, Ayat 23).
