English Translation
Here you can read various translations of verse 31
Indeed, We sent upon them one blast from the sky, and they became like the dry twig fragments of an [animal] pen.
For We sent against them a single Mighty Blast, and they became like the dry stubble used by one who pens cattle.
Behold, We sent a single Blast against them, and they became like the trampled twigs of a sheep pen-builder.
Verily, We sent against them a single Saihah (torment – awful cry, etc.), and they became like the dry stubble of a fold-builder.
Lo! We sent upon them one Shout, and they became as the dry twigs (rejected by) the builder of a cattle-fold.
Surely We sent against them one Shout; so they were as the chaff of a pen-builder.
We released a single mighty blast against them and they ended up like a fencemaker’s dry sticks.

Ala-Maududi
(54:31) Behold, We sent a single Blast against them, and they became like the trampled twigs of a sheep pen-builder.[21]
21. The crushed and rotten bodies of the people of Thamud have been compared to the trampled and trodden twigs and pieces of bush lying around an enclosure for cattle.
