No! But you love the immediate
Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life,
Nay; the truth is that you love ardently (the good of this world) that can be obtained hastily,
Not [as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but (you men) love the present life of this world,
Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now
Not at all! No indeed, (but) you (i.e., mankind) love the hasty (world).
Truly you [people] love this fleeting world
نہیں نہیں تم جلدی ملنے والی (دنیا) کی محبت رکھتے ہو

Ala-Maududi
(75:20) Nay;[14] the truth is that you love ardently (the good of this world) that can be obtained hastily,
14. The theme is again resumed from where it was interrupted by the parenthesis. Nay implies: You deny the Hereafter not because you regard the Creator of the universe as helpless to bring about Resurrection and raise the dead, but because of this and this other reason.
