Here you can read various translations of verse 29
And they say, “When is this promise, if you should be truthful?”
They say: “When will this promise (come to pass) if ye are telling the truth?”
They ask you: “When will this promise (of Resurrection) be fulfilled, if what you say is true?”
And they say: “When is this promise (i.e. the Day of Resurrection will be fulfilled) if you are truthful?”
And they say: When is this promise (to be fulfilled) if ye are truthful?
And they say, “When will this promise (come to pass), in case you are sincere?”
And they say, ‘If what you say is true, when will this promise be fulfilled?’
پوچھتے ہیں کہ وه وعده ہے کب؟ سچے ہو تو بتا دو

Ala-Maududi
(34:29) They ask you: “When will this promise (of Resurrection) be fulfilled, if what you say is true?”[48]
48. That is, “When will the time come about which you say: Our Lord will gather you together, then He will judge between us rightly? We have been denying you persistently and opposing you openly for so long. Why is not then the judgment being passed against us?
