English Translation
Here you can read various translations of verse 52
And they will [then] say, “We believe in it!” But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away?
And they will say, “We do believe (now) in the (Truth)”; but how could they receive (Faith) from a position (so far off,-
They will then say: “We believe in it”; but whence can they attain it from so far-off a place?
And they will say (in the Hereafter): “We do believe (now);” but how could they receive (Faith and the acceptance of their repentance by Allah) from a place so far off (i.e. to return to the worldly life again).
And say: We (now) believe therein. But how can they reach (faith) from afar off,
And they say, “We (now) believe in it.” And however can they succeed in the effort to achieve (belief) from a place far (away)?
they will say, ‘Now we believe in it,’ but how can they reach it from such a distant place-
اس وقت کہیں گے کہ ہم اس قرآن پر ایمان ﻻئے لیکن اس قدر دور جگہ سے (مطلوبہ چیز) کیسے ہاتھ آسکتی ہے
Quran 34 Verse 52 Explanation

Ala-Maududi
(34:52) They will then say: “We believe in it”;[73] but whence can they attain it from so far-off a place?[74]
73. “We do believe (now) in it”: “We believe in the message presented by the Messenger in the world.”
74. That is, “They should have believed when they lived in the world; they have come a long way away from it. After having arrived in the next world how can they get a chance to repent and believe?”
