Surah Sad Ayat 88 in Arabic Text

وَلَتَعۡلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعۡدَ حِينِۭ

Wa lata’lamunna naba ahoo ba’da heen (section 5)

English Translation

Here you can read various translations of verse 88

Sahih International
And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time.”

Yusuf Ali
“And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while.”

Abul Ala Maududi
You will know the truth of the matter after a while.”

Quran 38 Verse 88 Explanation

Ala-Maududi

(38:88) You will know the truth of the matter after a while.”^[73]

73. That is, those of you who live will see for themselves within a few years that what I am saying is fulfilled. Those who die will come to know as soon as they pass through the gate of death that the truth is the same which I am preaching.
