English Translation
Here you can read various translations of verse 31
So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment].
“So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins).
and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement.
“So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment).
Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom).
“So, our Lord’s Word (Literally: Saying) has come true against us; surely we are indeed tasting (it).
Our Lord’s sentence on us is just and we must all taste the punishment.
اب تو ہم (سب) پر ہمارے رب کی یہ بات ﺛابت ہو چکی کہ ہم (عذاب) چکھنے والے ہیں
