إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

Illaa ‘ibaadal laahil mukhlaseen (section 2)

Quran 37 Verse 74 Explanation

Ala-Maududi

(37:74) except for the chosen servants of Allah?^[38]

38. That is, they never used their own common sense to see whether the way their forefathers had been following was right or wrong; they just blindly adopted the way that they found others following.

Ibn-Kathir
