Surah Zukhruf Ayat 44 in Arabic Text
English Translation
Here you can read various translations of verse 44
And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned.
The (Qur’an) is indeed the message, for thee and for thy people; and soon shall ye (all) be brought to account.
Verily it is a great source of eminence for you and your people, and soon you will be called to account concerning that.
And verily, this (the Quran) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it).
And lo! it is in truth a Reminder for thee and for thy folk; and ye will be questioned.
And surely it is indeed a Remembrance to you and to your people, and surely you (all) will eventually be questioned (about it).
for it is a reminder for you and your people: you will all be questioned.
اور یقیناً یہ (خود) آپ کے لیے اور آپ کی قوم کے لیے نصیحت ہے اور عنقریب تم لوگ پوچھے جاؤ گے
Quran 43 Verse 44 Explanation

Ala-Maududi
(43:44) Verily it is a great source of eminence for you and your people, and soon you will be called to account concerning that.[39]
39. That is, there can be no greater good fortune for a person than that Allah should choose him from among all men to become the recipient of His Book, and there can be no greater good fortune also for a nation than that Allah should raise His Prophet in it, apart from all other nations of the world, and should send down His Book in its tongue, and give it the opportunity to rise as the standard-bearer of divine message in the world. If the Quraish and the people of Arabia have no sense of this great honor, and spurn it, a time will come when they will be called upon to account for it.
