Surah Muddaththir Ayat 24 in Arabic Text

فَقَالَ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ يُؤۡثَرُ
Faqaala in haazaaa illaa sihruny yu’sar

English Translation

And said, “This is not but magic imitated [from others].

Yusuf Ali
Then said he: “This is nothing but magic, derived from of old;

Abul Ala Maududi
and said: “This (Qur’an) is merely a sorcery of yore;

Pickthall
And said: This is naught else than magic from of old;

Quran 74 Verse 24 Explanation

(74:24) and said: “This (Qur’an) is merely a sorcery of yore;
