[Moses] said, “My Lord, indeed I do not possess except myself and my brother, so part us from the defiantly disobedient people.”
He said: “O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother: so separate us from this rebellious people!”
Thereupon Moses said: ‘My Lord! I have control over none but my own self and my brother; so distinguish between us and the transgressing people.’
He [Musa (Moses)] said: “O my Lord! I have power only over myself and my brother, so separate us from the people who are the Fasiqun (rebellious and disobedient to Allah)!”
He said: My Lord! I have control of none but myself and my brother, so distinguish between us and the wrong-doing folk.
He said, “Lord! Surely I possess (no authority) on anyone except myself and my brother. So distinguish between us (Literally: part between us and “between”) and the immoral people.
He said, ‘Lord, I have authority over no one except myself and my brother: judge between the two of us and these disobedient people.’
موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کہنے لگے الٰہی! مجھے تو بجز اپنے اور میرے بھائی کے کسی اور پر کوئی اختیار نہیں، پس تو ہم میں اور ان نافرمانوں میں جدائی کردے
