Surah Mulk Ayat 30 in Arabic Text

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِنۡ أَصۡبَحَ مَآؤُكُمۡ غَوۡرٗا فَمَن يَأۡتِيكُم بِمَآءٖ مَّعِينِۭ
Qul ara’aytum in asbaha maaa’ukum ghawran famai ya’teekum bimaaa’im ma’een

English Translation

Sahih International
Say, “Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?”

Yusuf Ali
Say: “See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?”

Abul Ala Maududi
Say to them: “Did you even consider: if all the water that you have (in the wells) were to sink down into the depths of the earth, who will produce for you clear, flowing water?”

Muhsin Khan
Say (O Muhammad SAW): “Tell me! If (all) your water were to be sunk away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?”

Pickthall
Say: Have ye thought: If (all) your water were to disappear into the earth, who then could bring you gushing water?

Dr. Ghali
Say, “Have you seen (that) in case your water becomes in the morning deep-sunken, (i.e., in the earth) then who would come up to you with (i.e., bring) profuse water?”

Abdel Haleem
Say, ‘Just think: if all your water were to sink deep into the earth who could give you flowing water in its place?’

Muhammad Junagarhi
آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ اچھا یہ تو بتاؤ کہ اگر تمہارے (پینے کا) پانی زمین میں اتر جائے تو کون ہے جو تمہارے لیے نتھرا ہوا پانی ﻻئے؟

Quran 67 Verse 30 Explanation

Ala-Maududi

(67:30) Say to them: “Did you even consider: if all the water that you have (in the wells) were to sink down into the depths of the earth, who will produce for you clear, flowing water?”[40]


40. That is, does anyone else another beside Allah have the power to restore these springs of water to you? If none else has this power, and you know well that none has it, then who is worthy of worship: God or your false deities, who do not have the power to restore them? Then ask your own selves as to who is misled and misguided, those who believe in One God or those who believe in many gods.
