English Translation
Here you can read various translations of verse 78
And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers.
And the Companions of the Wood were also wrong-doers;
And the people of Aykah were also wrong-doers.
And the dwellers in the wood [i.e. the people of Madyan (Midian) to whom Prophet Shu’aib was sent by Allah), were also Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.).
And the dwellers in the wood indeed were evil-doers.
And decidedly the companions of the Thicket (i.e., the dwellers of Madyan) were indeed unjust.
The forest-dwellers, too, were wrongdoers

Ala-Maududi
(15:78) And the people of Aykah were also wrong-doers.[43]
43. The people of Al-Aikah were the community of Prophet Shuaib (peace be upon him) and were called Midianites after the name of their capital city and their territory. As regards Al-Aikah, it was the ancient name of Tabuk and literally means a thick forest.
Ala-Maududi
