And the people of Noah – when they denied the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment.
And the people of Noah,- when they rejected the messengers, We drowned them, and We made them as a Sign for mankind; and We have prepared for (all) wrong-doers a grievous Penalty;-
The same was the case with the people of Noah when they charged the Messenger with imposture: We drowned them and made them a sign of warning for entire mankind, and We have prepared a painful chastisement for the unjust.
And Nuh’s (Noah) people, when they denied the Messengers We drowned them, and We made them as a sign for mankind. And We have prepared a painful torment for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc).
And Noah’s folk, when they denied the messengers, We drowned them and made of them a portent for mankind. We have prepared a painful doom for evil-doers.
And the people of Nûh, (Noah) as soon as they cried lies to the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them to be a sign to mankind; and We have readied for the unjust a painful torment.
The people of Noah, too: when they rejected their messengers, We drowned them and made them an example to all people. We have prepared a painful torment for the evildoers,
اور قوم نوح نے بھی جب رسولوں کو جھوٹا کہا تو ہم نے انہیں غرق کردیا اور لوگوں کے لیے انہیں نشان عبرت بنا دیا۔ اور ہم نے ﻇالموں کے لیے دردناک عذاب مہیا کر رکھا ہے
Quran 25 Verse 37 Explanation

Ala-Maududi
(25:37) (The same happened with) the people of Noah: when they gave the lie to the Messengers[50] We drowned them and made of them a Sign of warning for all mankind. We have kept ready a painful chastisement for the wrong-doers[51].
50. They did not charge only Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) with imposture because he was a man, but, in fact, charged all the Prophets with imposture because they were all human beings.
51. That is, a painful chastisement in the Hereafter.
