English Translation
Here you can read various translations of verse 53
That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'”
“‘When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'”
After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?’
“(That) when we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)?”
Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones – can we (then) verily be brought to book?
