O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
“O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, Lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of the evil one, for he is to you an avowed enemy.
O people, eat of what is lawful and clean in the earth and do not follow the ways of Satan, for he is your avowed enemy.
O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and good on the earth, and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is to you an open enemy.
O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and wholesome in the earth, and follow not the footsteps of the devil. Lo! he is an open enemy for you.
O you mankind, eat of whatever is in the earth lawful and good; and do not closely follow the steps of Ash-shaytan; (The éver-vicious, i.e., the Devil) surely he is an evident enemy to you.
People, eat what is good and lawful from the earth, and do not follow Satan’s footsteps, for he is your sworn enemy.
لوگو! زمین میں جتنی بھی حلال اور پاکیزه چیزیں ہیں انہیں کھاؤ پیو اور شیطانی راه پر نہ چلو، وه تمہارا کھلا ہوا دشمن ہے

Ala-Maududi
(2:168) O people! Eat of the lawful and pure things in the earth and follow not in the footsteps of Satan.[166] For surely he is your open enemy;
166. The demand made here is that they should violate all those taboos in matters of food and drink which have their basis in superstitious beliefs or irrational usages.
