Surah Ash-Shu’ara Ayat 24 in Arabic Text

قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
Qaala Rabbus samaawaati wal ardi wa maa bainahumaa in kuntum mooqineen

English Translation

Sahih International
[Moses] said, “The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced.”

Yusuf Ali
(Moses) said: “The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure.”

Abul Ala Maududi
Moses answered: “The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe.”

Muhsin Khan
Musa (Moses) said: “Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty.”

Pickthall
(Moses) said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye had but sure belief.

Dr. Ghali
He said, “The Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them (both), in case you have certitude.”

Abdel Haleem
Moses replied, ‘He is the Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them. If you would only have faith!’

Quran 26 Verse 24 Explanation

Ala-Maududi

(26:24) Moses answered: “The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe.”[21]


21. That is, I have not been sent by any mortal king ruling in the world, but I come from Him Who is the Owner of the heavens and the earth. If you believe that, there is a Creator and Master and Ruler of this universe, it should not be difficult for you to understand who is the Lord of all Creation.
