English Translation

Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers… “
“‘Now if we only had a chance of return we shall truly be of those who believe!'”
If only we could return we would be among the believers.”
(Alas!) If we only had a chance to return (to the world), we shall truly be among the believers!
Oh, that we had another turn (on earth), that we might be of the believers!
So, if we had (a chance) to recur, (i.e., to live again) then we should be among the believers!”
If only we could live our lives again, we would be true believers!’
اگر کاش کہ ہمیں ایک مرتبہ پھر جانا ملتا تو ہم پکے سچے مومن بن جاتے
Quran 26 Verse 102 Explanation

Ala-Maududi
(26:102) If only we could return we would be among the believers.”[72]
72. That Quran has given an answer to this kind of longing and desire as well: Even if they be sent back to the earthly life, they would do all that they had been forbidden to do. (Surah Al-Anaam, Ayat 28). As for the reasons why they will not be allowed to return to the world, please see (Surah Al-Mominoon, ayat 100) note 90-92 above.
