Surah Ash-Shu’ara Ayat 15 in Arabic Text

قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ فَٱذْهَبَا بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۖ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ
Qaala kallaa fazhabaa bi Aayaatinaaa innaa ma’akum mustami’oon

English Translation

Sahih International
[Allah] said, “No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening.

Yusuf Ali
Allah said: “By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call).

Abul Ala Maududi
He said: “Certainly not! So go both of you with Our Signs. We shall be with you listening to everything.

Muhsin Khan
Allah said: “Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily! We shall be with you, listening.

Pickthall
He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing.

Dr. Ghali
Said He, “Not at all, so go (both of you) with Our signs; surely We will be with you, listening.

Abdel Haleem
God said, ‘No [they will not]. Go, both of you, with Our signs––We shall be with you, listen-ing.

Quran 26 Verse 15 Explanation

Ala-Maududi

(26:15) He said: “Certainly not! So go both of you with Our Signs.[12] We shall be with you listening to everything.


12. Here the signs meant the miracles of the staff and the shining hand, which were given to Moses. For details see (Surah Al-Aaraf, Ayats 106-117); (Surah Ta Ha, Ayats 17-23); (Surah An-Naml, Ayats 7-14); and (Surah Al-Qasas; Ayats 31-32).
