[Pharaoh] said, “Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life?
(Pharaoh) said: “Did we not cherish thee as a child among us, and didst thou not stay in our midst many years of thy life?
Pharaoh said: “Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child?
[Fir’aun (Pharaoh)] said [to Musa (Moses)]: “Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us.
(Pharaoh) said (unto Moses): Did we not rear thee among us as a child? And thou didst dwell many years of thy life among us,
Said he, “Did we not rear you among us as a newborn, and did you not linger among us years of your age?
Pharaoh said, ‘Did we not bring you up as a child among us? Did you not stay with us for many years?
فرعون نے کہا کہ کیا ہم نے تجھے تیرے بچپن کے زمانہ میں اپنے ہاں نہیں پاﻻ تھا؟ اور تو نے اپنی عمر کے بہت سے سال ہم میں نہیں گزارے؟

Ala-Maududi
(26:18) Pharaoh said: “Did we not bring you up among us when you were a child?[14]
14. This remark of Pharaoh shows that he was not the same Pharaoh who had brought up Moses in his house, but his son. Had he been the same Pharaoh, he would have said, “I brought you up.” But, on the contrary, he says, “You were brought up among ourselves.” For a detailed discussion, see (Surah Al-Aaraf, ayat 104-127) note 85-93.
